10GPON is
evolution of GPON, it has two standards XGPON and XGSPON.
XG-PON, also
called 10GPON or asymmetrical 10GPON, different down and up stream.
XGS-PON, symmetrical
10GPON, upstream and downstream rate are the same.
XG-PON down and
upstream rate is Asymmetric, XGS-PON is Symmetric. Now there is
only XG-PON service board like XGBD XGHD available in the market; XGS-PON
boards is not popular used.
